A Competency Framework for Women Leaders

Shenomics distilled the insights from our qualitative interviews and quantitative survey into a 9-competency framework that incorporates key professional competencies that can help propel women into leadership roles. These 9 competencies span across three realms :

The Inner realm

Consists of competencies primarily developed through an inner orientation and a focus on the self.

The Outer realm

A set of competencies that require an outward focus on the external environment, and a variety of key stakeholders at the workplace and at home.

The Inter-sectional realm

Where the inner intersects with the outer realm to create a set of competencies that require a combination of focus on the self and a focus on the external environment.
