Hoodu is both a storyteller and a hedgehog. Hoodu enjoys his nightly excursions in search of juicy bugs and insects which the Forest so generously provides for him. He sleeps by day and being nocturnal in his habits, he wanders off at night in search of food and any willing listeners to his stories. For, apart from being born with long ears, he also has a lively imagination and the power of expressing it. All creatures of the Forest would fall under the spell of his tales.
