Worked on a new comic with @sangathindia, ‘Nina’s guide to trans-affirmative healthcare’ developed from the lived experience stories shared with us during the TransCare MedEd and TransCare COVID-19 projects.
This was released at the iHEAR Doctors for Equity consultation meeting in New Delhi in July organised by @sangath.bhopalSangath is collaborating with members from the LGBTQIAP+ community, medical educators, queer medicos, health providers & NGO workers who engaged in knowledge exchange to share insights and lived experiences on the draft competencies, through insightful talks, group discussions and activities, paving a way to make medical education in India LGBTQIAP+ affirmative.
